Boys Competitive Gymnastics Boys Team - Jr. Sun Devils

Mission Statement

The mission of our boys competitive gymnastics team, the Jr. Sun Devils, is to provide a fun and safe team environment that promotes the development of confidence, discipline, life skills and a positive attitude through the sport of gymnastics.

Our coaches endeavor to assist each student in realizing their potential and finding joy in the process of achieving it. This allows for everyone to be a winner.

Why Boys Competitive Gymnastics – JSD

1. Gymnastics training can develop a top notch physical state to include: strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, Kinesthetic awareness and overall coordination. All of these skills can be applied to all other sports.
2. Additionally, despite gymnastics being an individual sport, we place a strong emphasis on being a part of a team and center the majority of our goals to fall in line with a team concept. As a result, the team environment and close-knit circles foster the development of many lifelong friendships.
3. Our team program fosters highly developed structure, organization, and self-discipline, which effectively prepares our athletes for success in school and other extracurricular activities outside of the gym.
4. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, daily participation in the Jr. Sun Devils program fosters self-confidence and self-efficacy among its members.

Boys Competitive Gymnastics Levels

Our Compulsory (Levels 3-7) and Optional (Levels 8-10) levels follow the USAG Jr. Olympic routines and guidelines.

Compulsory Levels
Level 3 – Monday and Wednesday (4:30 pm – 7:30 pm)
Level 4-7 – Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (4:00 pm – 7:30 pm)
Day Group Options Available – Must have Head Coach Approval

Optional Levels
Levels 8-10Night Group – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (4:00 pm – 8:00 pm) and Saturday (9:00 am – 12:30 pm)
Levels 8-10 Day Group – Monday – Friday (1:30 pm – 5:30 pm)

How to Join Our Boys Competive Gymnastics Team
