Gymnastics Programs
We’ve partnered with the American Academy of Gymnastics!
Opening in 1973, the American Academy of Gymnastics is the longest running private gymnastics club in Illinois. Proud to partner with the Mt. Prospect Park District, AAG has developed 11 national team members including 1992 Olympian, Chris Waller. As the premier training facility for high school gymnasts in the Chicagoland area, 44 of the 172 competitors at the 2019 IHSA Girls State Championships train at AAG. Our graduates have cumulatively earned over $4 million in college scholarships.
The focus is on safety, learning and fun. Our teaching method utilizes progressive drill skills that when combined ultimately lead to the completion of the skill in its entirety. Students experience many levels of success as we acknowledge each drill as it is mastered. This method improves both safety and confidence while making the process fun for the kids.
