
Eight Americans advanced to final competition Friday at the 2025 Trampoline Junior World Championships in Spain.
PAMPLONA, Spain (November 14, 2025) – Eight Americans advanced to final competition Friday at the 2025 Trampoline Junior World Championships in Spain.
Junior Worlds competition kicked off Friday morning and saw two rounds of qualifications completed in men’s and women’s double mini and women’s tumbling and synchronized trampoline, where six U.S. gymnasts secured their spot to final competition.
On the men’s side, Rafi Pikofsky-Christiansen (Silver Spring, Md./Dynamite Gymnastics Center) and Sylus Harper (Farmington, Utah/Flipside Tumbling) qualified to the men’s double mini final in second (27.500) and third (27.300), respectively. Michael Carey (Trinity, N.C./Carolina Elite Trampoline Academy) finished fifth with a 27.100 and will act as the national reserve. Representing the women in the double mini final will be Neila Johnson (Draper, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling), who placed sixth in Q2 with a 25.200 to qualify.
The American women also took on tumbling and synchro competition Friday, where Haleigh Smith (Dalton, Ga./Culprit Athletics) moved into the tumbling final in eighth with a 22.100, and the women’s pair of Grace Danely (Millstone, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy), and Nora Simmonds (Monroe, N.J./Garden State Trampoline Academy) finished sixth in synchro to advance with a 44.230.
With only one round of qualifying set for men’s tumbling, Carter Garn (Bluffdale, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling) and Andrew Neatrour (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Centre Elite Gymnastics) will compete in Sunday’s final after their performances on Friday. Garn was fourth with a 49.000 and Neatrour fifth with a 47.100 to advance. Luke Todd (Calhoun, Ga./Culprit Athletics) was 11th (44.300) and designated as national reserve, while Jakob Saldana (Lubbock, Texas/Air Extreme) finished 14th (43.500)
Qualifications also were held in men’s and women’s individual trampoline, with the second round to be held Sunday. For the women, Bella Ursu (Holmdel, N.J./Elite Trampoline Academy) will serve as first reserve after placing 26th (89.670), and Danely is second reserve with her 27th-place finish (89.610). Simmonds was 28th with an 89.430 and Channing Kim (Frisco, Texas/Eagle Gymnastics Academy) 59th with a 66.850.
Joseph Borders (Austin, Texas/Tumble Tech) was 26th in men’s qualifying with a 95.350 and will act as second reserve. Pikofsky-Christiansen finished 41st (93.400), Chaz Neyman (Draper, Utah/Wasatch Trampoline & Tumbling) 48th (91.080), and Jake Treonze (Hillsborough, N.J./CAVU Trampoline and Tumbling) 72nd (74.830).
