
USA Gymnastics on Wednesday announced the locations for the 2025 Men’s and Women’s Development Program National Championships and Eastern and Western Championships.
INDINANPOLIS, Ind. – USA Gymnastics on Wednesday announced the locations for the 2025 Men’s and Women’s Development Program National Championships and Eastern and Western Championships.
The Development Program National Championships will head to Salt Lake City, Utah on May 8-11, while the Men’s Eastern and Western Championships will be held April 25-27 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Reno, Nevada, respectively. The Women’s Eastern and Western Championships are set for May 1-4 in Battle Creek, Michigan, and Fargo, North Dakota, respectively.
Development Program National Championships
The 2025 Men’s and Women’s Development Program National Championships will take place May 8-11 at Salt Lake City’s Mountain America Expo Center. The championships are the culmination of the Development Program season and National Teams and champions will be determined.
“Sports Salt Lake is excited to welcome one of the largest gymnastics ever hosted within the city,” said Clay Partain, Chief Sports Officer of Sports Salt Lake. “This event will bring in thousands of fans and showcase why we believe the Mountain America Expo Center is a top tier venue.”
The competition will feature junior and senior Level 10 women’s artistic gymnasts and Level 8 & 9 Junior Elite and Level 10 Junior National and Junior Elite men’s artistic gymnasts. The Women’s 2025 Development Program National Team and the Men’s Level 8/9 Junior National Team will also be selected following the event. Men’s athletes will contest club and regional titles while a Regional Team (Super Team) Champion will be crowned on the women’s side.
Results from regional championships determine qualification to the Development Program Championships. All sessions of the competition will stream live on FlipNow.tv. Competition information will be available at devnationals.com closer to the event date.
Men’s Eastern and Western Championships
The 2025 Men’s Development Program Eastern and Western Championships April 25-27 head to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Reno, Nevada. The championships will see competition from the country’s top Level 6 Junior Elite athletes, Level 7 athletes, and Level 8 and 9 Junior National athletes. The competition also will run in conjunction with the 2025 GymACT Eastern and Western Conference Championships. The Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center will host the Eastern Championships and the Reno Events Center will be the home of the Westerns.
The U.S. men’s program recently realigned its Regions and now will follow a six-region format. Athletes in Regions 4-6 will compete at the Eastern Championships in Florida, with gymnasts in the Western Championships to represent Regions 1-3. Athletes will also be selected to the 2024-25 Future Stars National Development Team at the championships. The team will be comprised of 24 Level 6 Junior Elite athletes total, 12 from the east and 12 from the west, and members will be invited to the 2025 Future Stars Camp in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Women’s Eastern and Western Championships
Featuring Level 9 women’s artistic athletes, the annual Women’s Development Program Eastern and Western Championships May 1-4 will take place in Battle Creek, Michigan and Fargo, North Dakota, respectively. The Eastern Championships will be hosted by Branch Gymnastics at the Kellogg Arena in Michigan, while the Westerns will be put on by High 5 Meets and American Gold Gymnastics at Fargodome in North Dakota.
The competition in 2025 will serve as the culmination of the Level 9 women’s artistic season as gymnasts vie for titles. The Eastern event will feature athletes from Regions 5-8, while gymnasts competing in the Western Championships will represent Regions 1-4.
